- תַּשְׁלוּם, תַּשְׁלוּמָאch. sam( תַּשְׁלוּם m. (שָׁלַם) payment, indemnity.), 1) payment, retribution, reward; indemnity. Targ. 2 Sam. 19:37 (h. text גמולה).Y.Keth.IV, 29a top שכן הוא כותב ת׳ מן נכסיהוכ׳ for so he writes (in his marriage agreement), ‘payment to be secured from property that may come to me ; Y.Yeb.XV, 14d bot. תַּשְׁלַמְתָּה מן ניכסייוכ׳.Pl., תַּשְׁלוּמִין, תַּשְׁלוּמֵי. Targ. Y. II Lev. 24:20 תשלומי in payment for (h. text תחת). 2) complement. Ker.27a תשלום דסלע (Rashi תשלומי) that which is wanted to make it a full Sela.Pl. as ab. Ib. ת׳ דסלע.
